Here are some of our dogs from the past that have contributed a great deal

CH. Carriage Hill's Rumor Has It "Maxx" ~ Retired

Maxx was Best Opp Sex Sweeps (RDLRC) and Best Opp Puppy (LRC Piedmont) and nearly BOS Sweeps (LRC Potomac).
He was one of three siblings from this breeding that all did well and he finished just before his 2nd birthday. He loved to show.
A true comedian and always inventing games - Maxx was the life of the party and never had a bad day.
He's enjoying life with Jeff and Shauna out on Lake Oconee and loves to watch dog shows on TV.

Carriage Hill's Just Scuttlebutt "Ranger" ~ Retired

Ranger earned both majors and most his points (12) under two years of age before COVID struck.
A sweetheart of a dog, he loves to give hugs and has such a kind heart.
He's now retired and enjoying daily walks and tending (and sampling) in and around the garden at home with Richard.

CH. Carriage Hill's Tattle Tale "Trudy" ~ Retired

Trudy was RWB at LRC Piedmont under both Lori Bentine and Susan Huntszinger.
She did very well at both specialties(winning the BBE class at Potomac multiple times) and all breed shows.
A beautiful yellow girl ~ always happy and a joy to live with!
We look forward to showing her at select specialties as a veteran.

Ch Carriage Hill's Oliver Twist, JH "Oliver" ~ Gone but not Forgotten ~ w.12/5/2003 d.10/19/2014

(Am/Can CH Boothgates Chief Producer, WC x Carriage Hill's Thyme After Thyme)

Oliver finished his Championship with 4 majors and was awarded his
JH title in four straight tests. He was our first homebred chocolate champion junior hunter.
One the companion side, he had a personality that was larger than life itself. He is missed every day.
He also contributed to the greater good by siring numerous service dogs for Canine Assistants.

GR Ch Carriage Hill's Miss Behavin' "Leila" ~ Retired

Leila was Best in Sweeps at the RDLRC specialty under Lori Rudy
and Best of Opp Sex Sweeps at GALRC supported entry under Coleen Kincaid.
Our first homebred female champion. Shortly after finishing her championship
Leila was exhibited at the Westminster Kennel Club show in Madison Square Garden, February of 2012.

Carriage Hill's Black Lass "Oprah" ~ Gone but not Forgotten

Oprah was Best in Sweeps at the LRC Piedmont specialty under Martha Lee Voshell.
She is behind many of the Labradors here today and holds a special place in our hearts.

(Kresland's Tudor Hill Sundance x Kresland's Ox Bow Cherokee)

These sisters were the foundation of yellow and black for our kennel. Their pedigree
is heavily influenced by many Sandylands dogs.

Carriage Hill Kresland Ginger, JH, CGC, WC "Ginger" - Gone but not forgotten

Ginger went Reserve Winners at RDLRC Specialty under Sharon Parr.
She is the foundation of our chocolate line and all chocolates here at Carriage Hill go back to her.

Ch. Carriage Hill's Maxed Out "Max" ~ Gone but not forgotten

Max finished his Championship from the Bred By classes. He was BOS/BBBE and Winners Dog
at the 2009 GALRC Specialty under Dianna Beckett and went BBBE & Reserve Winners the
following year at the GALRC Specialty under Penny Carpanini

Ch. Carriage Hill's Sharp Dressed Man "Guinness" - Gone but not forgotten

(Ch. Wilcare's Leisure Suit Larry, JH x Carriage Hill's Maple Sugar)

Guinness currently resides with Farbourne Labradors in the Netherlands


Ch. Castlewood's Trey "Trey" ~ Gone but not forgotten (12/2013)

(Ch. Kai Den's Black Tie Affair, JH x Ch. Castlewood's Show N' Tell)

Trey was brought into our kennel from Robin Moody of Castlewood Labradors. Trey
went Reserve Winners at LRC Potomac under Anne Taylor and again at GALRC under Penny
Carpanini before finishing his Championship.
